My lab studies the structural basis gene regulation. We are currently focusing our efforts on a family gene silencers called the Polycomb Group (PcG) which play a vital role in development, stem cell regulation and cancer. Our goal is to understand the molecular mechanism of PcG proteins that are critical for promoting eukaryotic development and maintaining cell homeostasis.
